The Bowls Club now has a Defibrillator situated inside the Equipment Room durng the outdoor playing season and in the Clubhouse at other times. Many members have been trained on its use as well as other forms of resuscitation.

Players signed up for the 2017 outdoor Bowls season are reminded that the Players’ Meeting is being held on Wednesday 29 March commencing at 7.00pm in the Clubhouse.  This is an important meeting for all playing members – please do try to attend.

The club held its 2017 Short Mat Spring Tournament on Sunday 12 March.  Twelve teams from across Devon and Cornwall took part and £375 was raised for Club funds.  The winners were The Riversiders from Launceston (John Hodnett, Ann Head, Marion Bartlett & Led Horrell) and the runners-up were from Tothill in Plymouth (Mollie Jones, Tony Wilkins, Jack Hudson & John Sloane).
