Around 40 Members attended to take part in a final game of bowls before the Green was closed on Saturday 21 September. An equal number of guests joined them to mark the end of the outdoor bowls season for 2019 with a very enjoyable BBQ. Although overcast, the weather stayed dry for the duration of the event.

The new season for Short Mat starts on Monday 23 September. Sessions will be held on Monday & Wednesday afternoons (1.30pm meet for 2.00pm start) and on Tuesday & Thursday evenings (6.00pm meet for 6.30pm start).
