On Saturday 25 January, 14 members visited Bere Alston for a friendly game. It certainly lived up to its name of ‘friendly’!

Our teams were made up of league and non-league players, thus giving some Members a taste of competition bowls.

Three teams enjoyed 20 ends of some very good bowling, with a break for tea and cake. Tavistock finished overall winners, and they also did well in the raffle!

A return game has been arranged for Saturday 5^th April at 2.00pm, following the Club’s Coffee Morning.

A cheque for £700 was presented to representatives of the Tavistock Memory Cafe by the Club’s Chairman, Sue Silcox, at the January Coffee Morning. The money had been raised during the 2024 season from various fundraising events.
