The Club held its Opening Day on Saturday 17 April. However, because of Covid restrictions, only 24 bowlers were allowed to play and, as the Clubhouse remains closed, there was no afternoon tea to accompany the bowling. The players that did attend enjoyed a lovely sunny afternoon in which to hone their skills. Last year’s bowling season allowed only small group sessions within the Club but, in 2021, a range of competitive bowling fixtures has been arranged. Once Covid restrictions lift further and the Clubhouse can re-open, friendly fixtures and social events will resume.

The Club will re-open the Green for outdoor bowls on Saturday 17 April. This will be subject to Covid restrictions and all the details have been sent to members.
