The Ladies’ Captain, Anne Brown, presented a cheque for £600 to Lesley-Ann Simpson of the Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer.  The money had been raised during the 2014 Bowls season with the proceeds of raffles held during the ladies’ matches, the Club’s Charity Day and ‘fines’ instigated during the Club’s recent tour to Weymouth.
